DESCRIPTION:📍King’s College London\, 01.02.2025 – The First Summit of Central Asian Youth took place\, marking the historic launch of the Central Asian Youth Alliance.\n⠀\n🌍The event started with Keynote Speeches by:\n⠀\n🇰🇬Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva\, Minister of Education and Science of The Kyrgyz Republic.\n⠀\n🇹🇯Ismatullo Nasreddin\, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Tajikistan.\n⠀\n🇺🇿 Alisher Sadullaev\, Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Under the Cabinet of Ministers of The Republic of Uzbekistan.\n⠀\n🗣️A highlight of the Summit was the Open Dialogue with the Ambassadors of Central Asia to the UK\, where students engaged in discussions about the role of youth in the region’s future.\n⠀\nThe panel featured:\n🇺🇿 H.E. Ravshan Usmanov\n🇰🇿 H.E. Magzhan Ilyassov\n🇰🇬 H.E. Ulan Djusupov\n🇹🇯 Bakhtiyor Muhamedjanov \n🇺🇿Exceptional speakers from Uzbekistan participated in virtual panel discussions during the summit. \nOur deepest gratitude goes to:Vladimir Norov – Former Foreign Minister of The Republic of Uzbekistan & Former Secretary General\, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation\nOybek Kasimov – Secretary General\, National Olympic Committee\nAdkham Bekmuradov – Director\, El-Yurt Umidi Foundation \nThe discussion was moderated by Jasurbek Jabborov\, President of the Uzbekistan’s Students Union and Founder of the Central Asian Youth Alliance.\n⠀\n🌍This Summit marks the beginning of a new chapter for cooperation between Central Asian Youth Organisation in UK.\n⠀\n🤝🏻We are extending our deepest gratitude to The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the UK\, The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the UK\, The Embassy of Tajikistan in the UK and The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UK for their cooperation in the organisation of the Summit.

DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite you to our first event of 2025 of the year: Amu Darya River to a Missing Sea film Screening & Reception \nSince 2023\, three Oxford University students and thirty-six students from Karakalpakstan and Khorezm have collaborated to create an oral history film about the Amu Darya Delta in Uzbekistan. The film has been nominated for the ‘Little Venice Film Festival\, 2024’\, won the Best Environment and Climate Film in Ponza Film Festival\, 2024 and won the Global Sustainability Film Award\, 2024.
